10,000 pounds of sweet potatoes have been hauled away from the PPG plot. special thanks to Tommy Melton for all his work and to PPG for the use of their land.
Time to move on to the Metcalf Rd site tomorrow early a.m. P:otatoes have already been plowed out and ready for picking. Joiin us for perfect potato picking up weather. Look for sign on right about 3 miles out from Lafayette St.
If we finish this plot, Fallston plot on Spurling Rd is next. For all of his friends who have been asking about him, we think Tom Young will be back in uniform on Thurs.
Here are some pictures from today's harvest at PPG. We did not finish. The potatoes are huge! Lots more potatoes in this field than we're anticipated. -Doug
